== Przepis Recipe ==As quoted above, Henryk Sienkiewcz and Zygmunt Gloger enjoyed bigos in 1882, while travelling to the vast primaeval Białowieża Forest in what is now eastern Poland. Here's a video of them cooking bigos (which, for some reason, they pronounce "bigosh") in the midst of the same forest.  [[File:Bigos zwwk.jpg|thumb|250px|And this is my own bigos – this time with sauerkraut, which I've seasoned with the following ingredients: onion, black pepper, allspice, bay leaves, marjoram, juniper, smoked chili pepper, cumin, cloves, saffron, dried bay boletes, prunes, honey, dry red wine, tomato paste.]]{{#evt:service=vimeo|id=https://vimeo.com/170478438|dimensions=500|alignment=left|description=Bigos preparation starts at 1:26. <br />[https://www.bbc.com/food/recipes/bigos_stew_69890 Click here] for their recipe.|container=frame}}
