The badge is has the form of a little shield in the roughly triangular shape of a goblet, measuring 57×45 mm. The shield is adorned with a bull's or bison's head in black enamel overlaid with a crossed knife and fork. The badge was hanged one the recipient's neck by a yellow-and-red ribbon with a metal buckle in the shape of a filled dumpling.
